          Check your SYNC\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0version:<\/strong><\/div>

          Update is not required for those with SYNC\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>3 version 3.0 or above. Make sure to check your version before you proceed. Check by going into\u00a0Settings -> General -> About SYNC<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

          1. Click on the \u201cDownload SYNC\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Software Update\u201d link.<\/li>
          2. Enter your VIN. If your car is eligible for an update, enter your e-mail address.<\/li>
          3. If eligible for update, you will receive an email with a link to your update download.<\/li>
          4. Download the file to your desktop. Unzip the downloaded file and upload to a USB drive.<\/li>
          5. Insert USB drive into the car USB slot. The update should start automatically. It may take a while for the update to start and SYNC may restart a few times. Do not remove the USB until an update complete message is shown.<\/li>
