Electronic Drift Brake
Introducing a groundbreaking segment-first electronic drift brake – the merging of cutting-edge technology with the traditional hand brake. Engineered with dual calibration settings, it accommodates both new and expert drivers. With a beginner-friendly setting and competition-ready calibrated mode, both drivers can experience the strength of the Mustang. This innovative feature equipped with a Performance Package, can be switched on or off, providing versatility for track or drift course usage giving the drivers the option to “flutter” the hand brake for nuanced control, thanks to its 40-degree range of motion. It is not intended for street use, however, when activated the system enables controlled drifting by directing hydraulic braking exclusively to the rear wheels, giving the effect of a mechanical parking brake.
