Pre-Collision Assist with AEB
Pre-Collision Assist with AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path as it scans the road ahead. And if an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. This feature only activates your brakes if and when needed.*
*Driver-assist feature are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.

Active Park Assist 2.0
The Active Park Assist 2.0 makes the entire process of parking your vehicle in parallel or perpendicular spaces, a one-touch operation. By automating the throttle and brake, this feature makes it easy to nail an impressive park, time after time.

Lane-Centering Assist
Staying in your lane is important and safe, even during a moment of distraction. Luckily, the Lane-Centering Assist feature has been updated for 2023 to provide steering support by scanning your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead. This way, it can then alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. And after you’ve drifted a few times, a coffee cup icon will appear, letting you know it’s time to take a break.*
*Lane-Centering Assist does not control steering

Reverse Brake Assist
Backing up your vehicle into a parking garage and other tight spaces can be challenging at the best of times. This is where the available Reverse Brake Assist can be helpful. No matter what time of day or weather conditions, the system can detect a stationary object, a vehicle crossing, or a pedestrian or cyclist behind you and provide an audible alert. Its cross-traffic alert warning can even provide a visual display in the message center showing the direction a vehicle is coming from on a street or in a parking lot. Plus, the Reverse Brake Assist can bring you to a complete stop if you don’t react in time, emitting audible and visual warnings before the brakes apply.*
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver's attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go
Included in the available Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist Package, this feature works by utilizing the forward-facing camera and a sensor that detects traffic slowing ahead bringing the Expedition to a complete stop. Once the vehicle in front resumes motion, it will accelerate back up to the preset speed if the vehicle in front moves forward.

Intersection Assist
Intersection Assist can help traverse a busy intersection, especially when other vehicles are around. Intersection Assist uses the front camera and radar sensors to detect oncoming traffic while the customer attempts to turn left. If there’s a risk of a potential collision with an oncoming vehicle, the vehicle can alert the customer and apply the brakes even when not using a turn signal. This just might give them more confidence when attempting to make a left turn at an intersection.

BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) With Cross-Traffic Alert
There’s nothing as nerve-racking as looking out for blind spots when you’re behind the wheel. Well, you’re in luck with the Expedition’s BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, which not only alerts you with warnings, it also provides resistive feedback to the steering wheel, further alerting you of any danger. Cross-Traffic Alert warns of traffic approaching from the sides when the vehicle is in Reverse (R), such as slowly backing out of a parking space or driveway.

Evasive Steering Assist
Anything can happen out on the road so it’s always good to be prepared. Like experiencing a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. The available Evasive Steering Assist feature can help make it easier to avoid a potential collision. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system’s warning goes off and you need to maneuver around the vehicle ahead.
